ExecuSource is assiting on a Mammography Technologist search for a hospital client in Cookeville, TN. You would work directly with patients and assist radiologists in performing mammography procedures.

Compensation

• $28.14 - $33.54/hr
• Optional sign-on bonus of $7,500 for candidates with 2+ years of experience, with an 18-month commitment. Requires working one additional shift per payroll period if the hospital deems it necessary.
• Relocation assistance of up to $5,000. If you take the sign-on bonus, the relocation commitment is covered by the 18-month agreement. If you take relocation only, the commitment is 12 months.

What you'll do

• Operate the mammography system, technologist workstation, Secureview, CAD, reporting system, RIS, PACS, and bone densitometer
• Provide patient care and safety in line with department standards
• Handle front-line department tasks: customer service, phone communication, data entry and retrieval, cleaning of exam and work areas, supply maintenance, and infection control
• Follow MQSA and ACR standards
• Educate and support patients through their exams
• Meet the hospital's service standards with patients and colleagues

What you'll need

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
• ARRT registered, with mammography certification or eligibility to sit for the exam
• Radiologic Technologist license and BLS
• Responsibility for earning your own continuing education credits to stay in good standing with ACR and MQSA
