ExecuSource is assisting on a MRI Technologist search for a hospital client in Cookeville, TN. You would work directly with patients and support radiologists and physicians in performing MRI exams per physician orders.

Compensation

• $30.00 - $40.00/hr, depending on experience
• $1.15/hr 2nd shift differential
• Optional sign-on bonus of $7,500 for candidates with 2+ years of experience, with an 18-month commitment. Requires working one additional shift per payroll period if the hospital deems it necessary.
• Relocation assistance of up to $5,000. It comes with a commitment: 18 months if paired with the sign-on bonus, or 12 months if relocation only.

What you'll do

• Operate MRI scanners, flow rate injectors, patient monitoring systems, and PACS
• Administer gadolinium contrast and manage radiographic supplies while following department standards for patient care and safety
• Monitor and care for patients throughout their exams
• Handle front-line department tasks: customer service, phone communication, data entry and retrieval in HIS/RIS/PACS, cleaning of exam and work areas, and infection control
• Meet the hospital's service standards with patients, families, and colleagues

What you'll need

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
• ARRT certification as a Radiographer and MR Technologist, or the ability to earn MR certification within 12 months of completing MR competency
• Preferred: 4 years of radiology experience, including 2 years in MRI
• Professional, caring manner with patients and families, and the ability to stay steady in a busy department with frequent interruptions
