Our client seeks a Customer Service Representative who will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering prompt and proactive service.
What you'll be doing:
- Serve as the primary contact for customer freight requests via phone and email.
- Enter and update load information and customer notes in the AS400 system.
- Monitor loads and provide timely pickup, in-transit, and delivery updates.
- Coordinate with load planners, driver managers, and tank wash locations to meet customer requirements.
- Proactively resolve service issues and escalate when appropriate.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of customer service experience (transportation, 3PL, or food-grade tanker experience a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AS400
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
