Location: Conyers, GA (Onsite)
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Target Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000 Base + 5% Annual Bonus

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced, execution-focused Master Scheduler to join our team in Conyers, GA. In this role, you will take full ownership of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) while partnering directly with plant leadership to build, refine, and optimize our overarching planning, scheduling, and S&OP/SIOP frameworks.
Rather than simply stepping into a static environment to maintain existing schedules, you will play a central role in driving process improvement, balancing multi-line capacity, and establishing scalable planning systems. This is a high-visibility position designed for a senior practitioner who wants to make a measurable operational impact and track toward future leadership opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Develop, maintain, and execute the enterprise MPS by balancing customer demand, sales forecasts, inventory targets, and manufacturing capacity.
  • S&OP / SIOP Integration: Actively participate in Sales & Operations Planning cycles, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Production, and Customer Service to reconcile supply and demand.
  • Capacity & Constraint Management: Analyze labor, machine, raw material, and supplier lead-time constraints to produce realistic, executable floor schedules.
  • System & Process Optimization: Leverage ERP/MRP systems to manage material planning, inventory levels, and planning parameters, actively building out structured scheduling processes where needed.
  • KPI Management: Track, report, and improve key operational metrics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Schedule Adherence, Inventory Turns, Forecast Accuracy, and Capacity Utilization.

QUALIFICATIONS & CRITICAL SKILLS
Required Experience & Education:
  • Education: 4-year Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience within manufacturing operations, supply chain, production planning, or scheduling.
  • MPS Ownership: Proven, hands-on experience developing, managing, and executing a Master Production Schedule in a manufacturing setting.
  • S&OP / SIOP: Demonstrated experience participating in cross-functional Sales & Operations Planning processes.
  • ERP/MRP Proficiency: Deep expertise using enterprise ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics) alongside advanced Excel and data analytics skills.

Core Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to "work in the gray" and build structure within a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and align multi-departmental teams.

BENEFITS & PERKS
  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $90K–$105K + 5% annual performance bonus.
  • High-Impact Opportunity: Direct ownership in building and modernizing Master Scheduling systems.
  • Career Trajectory: High visibility with plant and materials leadership, offering clear growth potential into broader management roles.
