Lead Bilingual Medical Assistant

ExecuSource has partnered with a nationally recognized Orthopedic Sports Medicine group and we are assisting them on a search for a Bilingual Medical Assistant at their office in Nashville, TN. This is a leadership role and the hiring manager is actively setting up interviews!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms.
• Record patients' medical history, vitals, or information such as test results in medical records.  
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician. 
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, or physicians' instructions to patients. 
• Inventory of medical supplies and equipment. 
• Perform administrative/clerical work
• May operate x-ray or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic testing 
• Cleans and sterilize medical equipment
• Prepare all pre-screening for procedures and surgical consults
• Operate as Lead Medical Assistant  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required; Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant strongly preferred
• 5+ years of back office experience preferred
• Leadership/Managerial experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred 
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong knowledge and understanding of electronic medical record systems
• Knowledge of diagnostic testing equipment and sterilization equipment
• Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures

Pay: $24-$26/hr dependent upon experience 
Hours: Full-time - Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm
