Assistant Laboratory Supervisor
Location: White Plains, NY
Salary: $114,328.50 - $147,088.50
Our client is seeking an Assistant Laboratory Supervisor for the night shift to oversee lab operations, ensure quality testing standards, and lead laboratory staff.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervise lab testing and train/assist laboratory staff.
- Oversee the Quality Control Program and prepare monthly QC reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory/accreditation standards.
- Monitor turn-around-time and troubleshoot instrument issues.
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and interview prospective candidates.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a clinical laboratory technologist.
- BS degree in Clinical Technology or related science required.
- 4-6 years of relevant hospital experience required.
- Clinical Lab Technologist license (New York State) required.
- ASCP Histotechnician certification preferred.
