About the Opportunity:
ExecuSource is partnering with a growing advisory firm seeking a Business & Financial Advisory – Senior Associate to join their Client Accounting Services (CAS) team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working directly with clients, solving complex business challenges, and providing strategic financial support.
As part of the CAS team, you will serve as an extension of clients’ finance departments by providing accounting expertise, financial reporting, and advisory support across a variety of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow beyond traditional accounting responsibilities and build experience in a client-facing advisory environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes for multiple clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and account reconciliations
- Provide ongoing Client Accounting Services (CAS) support, including bookkeeping, reporting, and operational accounting assistance
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, financial projections, and business insights
- Process payroll, prepare 1099s, and support payroll tax compliance
- Identify and resolve client accounting issues while recommending process improvements
- Partner with clients to understand their business needs and provide proactive financial guidance
- Support various accounting projects across multiple industries
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- 2+ years of progressive accounting, bookkeeping, public accounting, or client advisory experience
- Experience supporting multiple clients or business entities simultaneously
- Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with payroll processing, 1099 preparation, and tax-related reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize competing projects, and work independently
- Construction accounting experience preferred
- Experience with ProSystems Fx Engagement is a plus
- Ability to travel locally within the Atlanta area (less than 10%)
